BACHELOR OF ARTS IN RELIGION
Students can major in any of the following programmes:
i) Philosophy, ii) Theology or iii) Religious Studies. The programmes are designed to instill a critique in the student in perception for application of Philosophical, Theological, and Religious knowledge for development at local, national and International levels. Objectives/Admission
Programme objectives:
- To expose students to various religious experiences and traditions of humankind.
- To make a critical inquiry and examination of religious phenomena
- To expose students to scientific and analytical treatment of religion
- To inculcate and impact skills in students so as to meet individual, societal, national and international challenges emanating from humanity’s religious experience.
Admission Requirements
Degree requirement:
- To be admitted into this programme, the applicant must fulfill JAB requirement as prescribed in cluster 6 of the JAB admission criteria.
- For mature entry one must be a holder of a minimum mean grade of C+ of 2 principles and subsidiary or a diploma in a relevant discipline or its equivalent.
