BACHELOR OF ARTS IN PSYCHOLOGY
The Psychology programme is designed to achieve anunderstanding of the basic principles of behaviour so as to use the acquired knowledge, techniques and skills to facilitate the developing population to adjust psychologically, socially, morally and intellectually to the challenges in their environment; and to use the tools of psychology to collect, analyse and interpret information about behaviour and to apply such knowledge in understanding and facilitating human adjustment.Field course for third years is an integral part of the learning experience. The duration of the program shall normally be four (4) academic years. However, two-year Diploma holders will take three years.Programme Structure
The candidates will be required to adhere to the current School course distribution as indicated in the table below.
Students in this program will take all required courses which include SAS and BAS courses and all core courses prescribed in every semester as indicated in the table below:
School of the various courses contained in the programme. The field course also counts as an assignment and a report is to be submitted and assessed as part of course work.
