Objectives
a) To provide students with theoretical knowledge on the principles of theatre
b) To inculcate in students the practical skills in performance.
c) To facilitate in students the knowledge to link work in the performing arts with development initiatives in society
d) To prepare students for further studies in at degree level in theatre
Admission requirements
To qualify for admission into the Diploma in Theatre programme, applicants should be in possession of a C overall grade or one principal pass at a-level, or a certificate in Theatre from a recognized College.
Programme Duration
The Diploma in Theatre Programme shall normally take two semesters of 16 weeks each.
Course Structure
The student will be expected to take a minimum of 42 units and a maximum of 48 units for the duration of the programme.
