Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology)
The programmes, each contain both traditional knowledge based courses that base on the anthropological and cultural theory and also innovative courses that respond to contemporary issues such as gender equality, conflict and terrorism.Standard courses such as Economic Anthropology, Political Anthropology, Medical Anthropology, Psychological Anthropology, Applied and Development Anthropology are offered at the Department. One of the strengths of both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes ran by the Department is primary field research, emanating from a strong research tradition and legacy carried by the lecturers, supervisors and mentors.
Admission Requirements
- To be admitted into this degree program, the applicant should be in possession of the minimum qualification for admission into a BA program of Moi University i.e. C+ overall grade.
- For mature entry or the PSSP, the applicant should be in possession of a C+ overall grade or two principal passesat A-level, or a diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized college and work experience.
