Admission requirements
To qualify for admission into the Diploma in Social Work programme, applicants should be in possession of:
i) A mean grade of C- at KCSE or Division III at KCE OR
ii) A mean Grade of D+ at KCSE or its equivalent PLUS a Certificate in relevant discipline of Moi University or any other recognized institution
Programme Duration
The programme runs for four semesters of 16 weeks each and an additional 8 weeks devoted to field attachment/placement.
Course Structure
All students shall take all core and required courses upon entry into the Diploma in Social Work programme. In the third and fourth semesters, they will concentrate on specialization courses which will form core and electives.The student will be expected to take a minimum of 72 units or a maximum of 84 units for the duration of the programme.
