The School of Arts and Social Sciences was established in 1987. The establishment of the school at Moi University was the concretization of a long process of conceptualization, planning and implementation of the general objectives of the second public university in Kenya. Since its establishment, the school has been responsible for preparing candidates for the award of Bachelor of Arts (BA) related degrees.
