 Correction And Administration
Correctional institutions and especially the Prisons world over and Kenya in particular are going through reforms that are intended to make them less punitive and more rehabilitative. This demand for high levels of specialized professional training in Penology, Correction and Administration. This program is therefore designed to meet the professional and manpower needs of the reformed correctional system.

Those specializing in the discipline are expected to take the entire core and required courses including PCA 408: Field Attachment/Project. The programme further promotes the objective of the School of Arts and Social Sciences, which is, to foster integrated utilization of knowledge for the betterment of mankind. Students graduating with specialization in Penology, Correction and Administration are well equipped to work in both governmental and non governmental correctional organizations, research institutions  and correctional policy think tanks.
